Campaign Leaders: The Space Youth
Space Youth is a youth-led group formed by young people directly impacted by the Grenfell Tower tragedy. We came together through our shared experiences of being ignored, overlooked, and made to feel like our pain didn’t matter. Now, we’re working to ensure that youth voices are taken seriously in both local and national decision-making. While our roots are in the aftermath of Grenfell, our mission reaches further: to advocate for young people across the country, ensuring that they are actively included in shaping decisions that affect them. Space Youth is supported by The SPACE, a community-led charity who continue to play a crucial role in the recovery of the community affected by the Grenfell Tragedy. Over the past 3 years, they have expended across London, supporting over 30,000 young people.
